25A – What’s Next?

Existing Market.
Talk about what you think is what's next in terms of products and services for your venture.
Next for my product would be an expansion for different kinds of foods, or one that also includes how many of the fruit you have left. This would be the same concept of a magnetized calendar, simply with different accessories.
Based on your own expectations and the feedback you received from customers, set a path for the future. In two to three paragraphs, describe what makes the most sense for your venture in terms of growing in your existing market.
To grow my existing market, I would also include different types of food. Some people do not eat fruits, but prefer vegetables. This would necessitate different magnet images and a different key.
New Market.
Identify a radically different market from what you're currently planning to target. If you're currently targeting B2B, think about going after a B2C market. If you're currently targeting an affluent part of society, think about targeting a very poor part of society.
A radically different market would be senior citizens who are still running their household. Rather than college students who just begun to grocery shop, this older demographic would have been doing it for years- yet would have problems remembering small details such as this.
Once you have identified a radically different market, describe how you think your venture concept might be able to create value for people in that market. You may have to get creative with this -- that's OK -- and perfectly welcome!
The value my product would offer is to their increased memory loss. They may have gotten fruits, either delivered by others to their home or gone and bought it themselves, and forgotten they have it there. They do not use technology for reminders, and would forget to check the fridge. The product would be a constant reminder that they do have fruits and which ones.
how they think your business might be help to meet customers like them. What kinds of adaptations to the product/service mix do they think you should make to be successful in this new market?
The product adaptations would require it to be bigger and more simple as a whole. This means everything written in a bigger font for worsening eyesight, easier to grip magnets for loss of dexterity, and more simplistic designs rather than a complex aesthetic for ease of understanding.
Step 4:   What surprised you the most? Were any of your expectations/assumptions correct? Does this new market, on second thought, appear to be as attractive as your existing market? And so on.
This market does appear to be as attractive as my existing market, The same problem of forgetting that they have fruits exist, although for different reasons. Rather than forgetting since they’re not accustomed to buying fruits- as occurs with university students or those recently moved out- they are suffering from memory loss that comes with age.
This would allow them to keep a healthy diet without constant supervision or replacing the fruits. It can be bought by them, or family members who want to help them keep their routine and diets. With adaptations regarding simplifying design and making text bigger, the calendar can be retooled from an average household use to helping senior citizens keep a healthy diet.
